Biological Laboratory of Hetao Cooperation Zone Officially Launches

On February 21, Biological Laboratory of Hetao Cooperation Zone, The Eighth Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU) was officially inaugurated. The event marked a significant step in advancing medical research and innovation in the region.

Key officials attended the ceremony, including: Gao Song, President of SYSU and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; Huang Wei, Secretary of the Futian District Committee and Party Secretary of the Hetao Development Bureau; Wang Jun, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Futian District Committee and Head of the Organization Department of Futian District Government; Li Huilai, Deputy Director of the Hetao Development Bureau; Yuan Ying, Deputy District Mayor of Futian; Tai Zhongzhi, Vice President of SYSU; Zhang Qi, Deputy Party Secretary of SYSU; Xu Anlong, President of the Sun Yat-sen University Institute of Advanced Studies Hong Kong.
